Ronald Lee Berry, 78, died December 2, 2020.  He was born May 2, 1942 in Maize, Kansas to Samuel Blane Berry and Edna Mae (Regan) Berry.  He graduated from Valley Center High School in 1961.  He married Betty Marie Day, the love of his life, on February 1, 1964.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, his father, mother, and sister Bonnie (Berry) Kreihbel.  Ron is survived by his sister Susan Brim; his three children, Randy Berry, Ronna (Rob) Hammel and Julie (Shawn) Birmingham; his eight grandchildren, Taryn (Gaby) Berry, Tristyn (Taylor Turley) Berry, Taitlyn Berry, Cody Hammel, Katie (Ethan Pierson) Hammel, Colton Berry, Lauron Birmingham and Jaydon Birmingham; his two great-grandchildren, Gavin Berry and Ellie Berry; and many other family and friends.

Ron was an underground utility contractor and worked for various companies before going into business with two of his friends and establishing WBW Contractors which he retired from.

Memorials may be made to Larksfield Therapy or Larksfield Hospice.

Visitation will be 6 – 7 p.m. on Monday, December 7.  Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 8, both held at Baker Funeral Home, 100 S. Cedar Avenue, Valley Center, Kansas.
