Ronald "Benji" Benjamin 77, born September 26, 1939 in Winfield Kansas. Ron passed away on  October 21, 2016 at his home in Burrton Kansas surrounded by family.  Ron worked 42 years for Cessna Aircraft retiring in 2009, served in the United States Army and the National Guard and graduated Belle Plain High School.  Ron was an avid woodworker and family man. Ron was preceded in death by his father Delmar R. Benjamin, mother Ruth (Logston) Benjamin, son-in-law Kent Hudson and nephew Joey Peterson. Ron is survived by his wife of 37 years Betty M. (Elliott) Benjamin, brothers Royce Benjamin (Beth) of Lenexa, Virginia, Randy Benjamin (Jennie) of Valley Center, Kansas, sisters Kay Roper (Gary) of McPherson, Kansas, Marsha Peterson of Wichita, Kansas, children Tammie Quiring (Boyde) of Halstead, Kansas, Billy Lemon (Tamara) of Winfield, Kansas, Raylene Benjamin-Hudson of Kingman, Kansas, Jeff Benjamin (Melissa) of Houston, Texas, grandchildren Donnie (Lauren), Brandon (Mallorie), Samuel, Hannah, Emma, Gabrielle, McKia, Madison, Olivia, Savannah and great-grandchildren Mackenzie, Taylor, Devin, Noah and Britton, many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at his home in Burrton at 10 a.m. on Saturday, November 5. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Hospice Home Health 1600 N Lorraine, Ste 203, Hutchinson, Kansas 67501.  Baker Funeral Home Valley Center is handling arrangements.
