Obituary

VALLEY CENTER, KANSAS

Roger D. Adams, 63, passed away in peace and comfort surrounded by loved ones on January 7th, 2018. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Jackie Adams, his son Clayton Adams, Clayton's partner, Eric Newell, his mother Irene Adams, his two brothers Pat Adams, Pat's wife Anne Marie Adams and David Adams, David's wife, Angel Adams, and his brother-in-law, Jim Hall. He was predeceased by his father Clifton Adams and his sister Debbie Hall.

He was born in Erie, PA. He served in the U.S. Army stationed in FT. Hood, TX from 1975-1977 having served in Korea. After his service, he moved to Wichita, KS. He worked as a CNC machinist at Bombardier Learjet for 37 years.

He loved almost anything racing, with a short stint as a drag race driver. Him and his wife attended the inaugural opening of Heartland Park in Topeka, KS, and attended the races every year.

In lieu of flowers, we are asking for a donation in his memory to be made to the Sedgwick County Zoo. Roger loved going to the zoo each year to see the animals and new and expanded exhibits.

Visitation will be held 5-7 p.m., Friday, January 12, 2018 at Baker Funeral Home, 100 S. Cedar, Valley Center. Private Family services will be held. Condolences may be left for the family at www.bakerfhvc.com
