Roberta N. Tormey passed away on Monday, December 13, 2021, she was a loving Wife, Mom, Grandma, and great Grandma.

She was born November 28, 1931 in Valley Center, Kansas.  She graduated from Valley Center High School in 1949. She married Bob Tormey on August 3, 1951 and was married to Bob for 68 years before he passed away in April 2020.

Roberta is survived by her kids Larry Tormey, Lonnie Tormey (Marsha), Rob Tormey, Rod Tormey (Julie) all of Valley Center, Kansas and daughter Lori McComas (Ron) of Benton, Kansas; 11 grandchildren, Malissa Tormey, Josh Tormey, Jill Cooper, Chad Tormey, Robbi Goninan, Ryan Tormey, Holly Rasmussen, Zach McComas, Andrea Harper, Briar Tormey and Braden Tormey, and 15 great grandchildren; many other family and friends.

When her husband Bob joined the Air Force in 1952 they were stationed in Georgia and Roberta worked as a book keeper until their return to Valley Center to raise a family.  Roberta's joy was raising her kids and going to her kid's sporting events, then her grandkids and their sporting events.

In 1989 she went to work at the Sears catalog call center then went on to Sheplers catalog until she retired in early 2010's.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday December 20, at the Valley Center Memorial Cemetery, Valley Center, Kansas.
