Burt, Robert George Sr., 86, retired Valley Center maintenance, Farmer and Curtis Cattle Breeding Company, passed away on Monday, May 14, 2012. He was born in Hoyt, Kansas, to Charles William Burt and Ona May (Dodgion) Burt. He is survived by his sons, Ralph (Linda) Burt of Olathe, Kenneth (Lisa) Burt of Kansas City, MO and Robert Burt, Jr of Valley Center; 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; brother, Phil (Jean) Burt of Arlington, TX; sisters, Doris (Walter) Ramsour of Wichita, Marilyn Davenport of Manhattan, Ks and Linda (Tom) Gamble of Covina, CA. He is preceded in death by his wife M. Corrine Burt and grandson Casey Groves. Services 10 a.m., Saturday, May 19, at First United Methodist Church, 560 N. Park, Valley Center. Burial following the service at Valley Center Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the First United Methodist Church, 560 N.
