NEWTON,   KANSAS  formerly of Ft. Collins, Colorado

ROBERT  DUANE  RAINS,  'BOB', 82, passed away Thursday, January 17, 2019. A Ft Collins resident for 40 years, however moved to Newton KS following a fall in 2014. He was a devoted husband and a proud father. He was a member of Timberline Church and a valued employee at Weld County Garage and Foothills Chrysler/Dodge following several years of being owner operator of Rains Freight Systems and Cross Town Delivery. Proceeded in death by parents, Agee and Elizabeth Rains, and brother Bill Rains. Survived by wife, Gail Rains (Smith), daughters Kim Conley (Patrick) of Littleton, CO., Kaye Gwyther (David) of Darwin Australia, and son, Steve Rains (Robin) of Valley Center, and five grandchildren.

Memorial Service to be held at Newton Presbyterian Manor Chapel (1200 E 7 ^th St, Newton KS) at 11:00 am Saturday, January 26, 2019.  A memorial in Ft Collins will be held at a later date.
