Robert A. (Bob) Morris, longtime resident of Valley Center, passed away peacefully on March 30, 2024 at the age of 90. Bob was born on December 23, 1933 in Altoona, KS to Milton DeKalb and Anna Christine (Krashoc) Morris. He was the 9 of 10 children and the last of his siblings to pass. Bob met the love of his life LaVerne Cahill and married her on September 3, 1960. Together they lived in Wichita until they moved to Valley Center in 1962.

Bob loved old cars, car shows, his Dallas Cowboys and St. Louis Cardinals. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, and friend.

He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, his wife LaVerne of 59 years, and son Joe.

Bob is survived by his children, Greg (Patty) Morris, Cindy Pierce, and Cathy Morris. He has 8 grandchildren, Scott (Rachel) Morris, Amy (Arlen) Spexarth, Alicia (Jerry) Snearly, Julia Pierce, Brad (Brooke) Pierce, Audrey Morris & fiancé, John Hardin, Kevin Pierce and Cassie (Deon) Dozier. 8 great grandchildren, Ella & Addy Spexarth, Jackson, Rowan, & Mabel Pierce, Emerson & Vaughn Snearly, and Beau Morris.

Rosary will be Thursday, April 4, 2024 at 6:30 pm., Funeral mass will be Friday, April 5, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. both at St. Jude Catholic Church, 3030 N. Amidon, Wichita, KS 67204. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Birthline or Sarah's Hope.
