NEWTON,   KANSAS

ROBERT  WADE  LEHRMAN, 64, passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2016, after having a battle with lung cancer. He was born on July 24, 1952, in Newton to Walter and Leona Lehrman. Robert was a machinist at Bunting Magnetics for 30 years. He was married to Terry L. Lehrman in 1992. They had a son, Robert (Michael) Lehrman. In 2001 they took guardianship of Trista Deneé Greer, Terry's neice. He was a Christian man, loving husband and devout father. He enjoyed his family and friends. In his spare time, he enjoyed video gaming and shooting guns with his son, Michael. He also enjoyed the companionship of his beloved MinPin, Scooter. He leaves to mourn in passing his mother, Leona Lehrman of Hesston; wife Terry Lehrman of Newton; sons Michael and Bryan Scott Lehrman of Newton; sister Pamala Schrag of Newton; two step sons Brian Lane of Missouri and Thomas Lane of Newton; two step daughters Leslie Lane of Newton and Lisa Bueno of California; grandchildren Lola Galliher, Austin and Bryce Lehrman, Allena Lane, Montanna, and Taylan Hayes of Newton, Brendon Lane, Christopher Parris, Joshua Fairchild and Jazman Beuna of California.  Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at Baker Funeral Home in Valley Center. Graveside service will be 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 24, at Greenwood Cemetery, 1100 E. First, Newton. Contributions may be donated to the Lung Cancer Center.
