Robert Lee "Bob" Dearinger, Sr., passed away in Ness City, Kansas on Sunday, December 30, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. Bob was born December 16, 1946, in Kansas City, Mo., the son of Ralph and Juanita (Vanbebber) Dearinger. A resident of Wichita, Ks since 2007, Bob came to the Wichita Fellowship Club after being homeless. After a short stay on the 3rd floor, an opportunity came open so he could move out to the 101 Club. He jumped right in, head first and it was not long, he was promoted to the 101 Club Manager position and he held this position until he passed. Bob was baptized at his home at the 101 Club in 2012 and asked God to be his Savior. Bob was a member of Beginners Group of Alcoholics Anonymous and United States Bowling Congress and Cattle Rustlers Anonymous. Survivors include one brother - Richard L Dearinger Sr, Kansas City, Ks.; one sister - Susan Cantwell, Gravois Mills, Mo.; three sons - Jason Jackson, Wagoner Ok; Robert Dearinger Jr., Shawnee Ks; and Russel Dearinger, Ness City, Ks; two daughters - Michelle Martinez, Valley Center, Ks and Jamie Cullens, Wichita, Ks.; twelve grandchildren - Raymond Sanders, Chase Franklin, Mathew Dearinger, Andrew Dearinger, Gage Jackson, Mason Martinez, Gracie Martinez, Beau Martinez, Isabella Martinez, Kimberly Dearinger, Lacee Gumm, Amanda Sanders and man's best friend Lucky Dearinger. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Kenyan Clark and son Raymond Sanders.
His Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 12, 2019 at the Jim James Memorial 101 Club, 2206 E. 101 st St. N, Valley Center, Ks with Pastor Rob Schmutz presiding. His favorite meal will be provided after the service. Memorials, in Lieu of Flowers can be made to the Wichita Fellowship Club. Condolences may be left for the family at www.bakerfhvc.com
