Robert "Bob" Leroy Crane (63) passed away peacefully in his home on December 2. He was the father of Jennifer, Melissa, Dustin, and Tessa (Daniel) Callaway; grandfather of Logan and Genevieve Callaway; and the brother of David (Maryanne) Crane. He was preceded in death by his parents James R. and Reva "Willie" Crane and his sister Kathryn M. Crane. Bob will be remembered as a man who had an unending thirst for knowledge and encouraging others to look deeper.  Bob was born December 10, 1952 in Gunnison, CO. He graduated from Valley Center High School in 1970 and earned a bachelor's degree in business from Wichita State University. Bob married Linda DeWitt in 1978 and together they had four children. He was an entrepreneur and ran a small grain hauling business in Buhler, KS for many years. Most recently, Bob worked at Wolf Electric as an installer and maintenance specialist and resided in Wichita, KS.  A celebration of life will be held to remember Bob on Friday, December 9th from 6-8 PM at the Lake Afton pavilion in Goddard, KS.
