ROBERT  JOHN  CHRISTIANS , 83, retired KAW Pipeline Electronics and Communications Tech, passed away on Thursday, April 19, 2018.  He was born in Hoisington, Kansas to John Christians and Irene Pearl (Hinderliter). He was a graduate of Hoisington High School. On April 24, 1953 in Beaver, Kansas, he married the love of his life Retha Bowman. He was a member of Sedgwick United Methodist for many years. He also was a member of poppin' johnnies. He enjoyed fixing anything, loved trains, woodworking and tampering with things. He is survived by his wife of 65 years Retha, his children Bill (Patti) Christians, Sarah (Mark) Stolz, John 'Randy' (Joyce) Christians, Susan (Scott) Oatsdean and James (Nicolette) Christians; grandchildren Courtney (Danny), Will (Sara), Susannah, Jessica (Josh), Emily (Shawn), Kate, Erin (Dillon), Sarah (Sean), Matthew, Ali and Christian; many other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Edward Christians, sisters Lola Pearl Wright and Myrtle Kathryn Pitts; other family and friends.
