Thompson, Richard Allan, 77, retired Snap-on Tools salesman, passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2012. He was born in La Crosse, Kansas to Ralph and Frances (Wharton) Thompson. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Thompson; son, Kelly Thompson of Rose Hill; brother, Kenneth Thompson of Salina; step-children, Steven Miller, Joel Bird, Susan Stipp, Steve Gore, Monte Gore and Gayla Puthoff; many grandchildren, other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his first wife Patricia Thompson, parents Ralph and Frances Thompson, and step-daughter Dianna Mock. Services 1:00 p.m., Friday, January 13, at Baker Funeral Home Chapel, 100 S. Cedar, Valley Center. Memorials to Southern Care Hospice, 301 N. Main, Wichita, Ks 67202.
