RICHARD  SCOTT  STEPHENS , entered into heaven at the age of 64 on Friday, August 10, 2018, following a long battle with throat cancer. He was born in Wichita, Kansas to James 'Tex' Stephens and Joann Stephens. He attended Wichita schools and went on to work as a machinist for Boeing Aircraft. He is survived by his partner Anita Clary; children Jason Stephens and Lynn Stephens; mother Joann Roberts; sister Lynda Gayle Blumer; brother C. Bruce Stephens and his wife Lyn; plus a great many who loved him dearly. He was preceded in death by his father 'Tex' Stephens in September, 2017. Richard loved to make people smile and be happy. He was always thinking of things to do to change the world, and great hopes to win the lottery. Of which he would have shared his great wealth and joy to all he loved. He was truly one of a kind.
