Rhea Catherine Compton , 63, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and retired USD 259 bus driver, passed away on Wednesday, December 25, 2019, in Park City, Kansas. Rhea was born and raised in Folsom, California.  She married the love of her life, Jay Compton, in 1976.  The couple was married for 43 years.  Rhea and Jay spent their early years in Oregon and California, later relocating to Park City, Kansas where they raised their 2 children. She and her husband were active in coaching their children's sports teams and babysitting area kids.  She enjoyed going to the casino, traveling, movies & reality TV, cooking, caring for her students and was a huge supporter of her grandchildren. Rhea will be remembered for her kindness, love, and compassion for all.

She is survived by her husband, Jay Compton of Park City, KS; son Jeremy (Courtney) Compton of Wichita, KS; daughter, Jesire'e (Rickey) Compton, of Pueblo, CO; grandchildren, Avery Compton, Isabel Streight, Autumn Streight, Chloe Reeves, Andrew Reeves, and Lucas Streight; nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

A celebration of Rhea Compton's life will be from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm, Saturday, January 11, 2020; at 7913 W Meadow Park Circle, Wichita, KS.   Condolences may be left for the family at www.bakerfhvc.com
