Hamilton, Reta Lee (Tharp), 89, retired Beech Aircraft employee, passed away on Sunday, August 12, 2012, after a long battle with Alzheimers. She was born in Choctaw, Oklahoma to Arthur M. Tharp and Anne Mae (Curtis) Tharp. She married Jack Hamilton and raised six children and retired from Hawker Beechcraft. She returned to work in the fashion world at Lewins and then Dorman's Womens Wear. She is survived by her children, Jim (Tammy Kern) Hamilton, Jan (Gary) Highfill, Jerry (Carla) Hamilton, John Hamilton, Jeff (Sherry) Hamilton and Jacalyn (Scott) Thompson, all of Wichita; 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; brother, Chuck Tharp of Choctaw, OK; sister, Bonnie Ptacek of Kansas City, KS; and many other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Anne Tharp; brothers, Forrest and Cecil Tharp; and sister Genny Davis. Visitation 10 a.m., Services 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 17, at Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church , 1600 W. 27th St. N., Wichita. Graveside 10 a.m., Saturday, August 18, at Arlington Memorial Cemetery, 3400 N. Midwest Blvd, Midwest City, OK. Memorials may be designated to the Alzheimers Foundation. Baker Funeral Home, 100 S.
