Randy Cavanaugh peacefully departed this world to be with Jesus on Friday, September 13, 2024, surrounded by his loving family after a long illness. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Cathy; his daughter Danyelle (Joe) Frye; and his granddaughters Madyson, Abygail, and Kaytlin Boysel. He also leaves behind his sister Teresa Cavanaugh, his brother Michael "Skip" Cavanaugh, six nieces and nephews, other family and friends.

Randy attended Shawnee Heights High School in Topeka, KS, Derby High, and graduated from Mulvane High School. He also attended Highland College. Following school, he began his career as an apprentice with Gideon Source Electrical Co. and later worked with J Frye Enterprises.

Randy's life was defined by his love for God, family, and football—in that order. He was an avid fan of both the Raiders and the Chiefs.

In accordance with his wishes, services will be private.
