Base, Quentin Lincoln, 94, retired Farmer, passed away on Tuesday, April 10, 2012. He was born in rural Burrton, Kansas, to Tobias Adam Base and Selma Leah (Schmidt) Base. He is survived by his son, Gary (Sharon) Base of Sedgwick, and daughter, Patty (Stan) Grecian of Palco; grandchildren, Doug (Teri) Base, Dan (Polly) Base, Stacey (Jay) Risner, Amy (Eric) Reid, and Kelly (Joel) Helms; great grandchildren, Lindsay, Samuel, Katie, Audrey, Brittley, Madelaine, Delenn, Jacey, Leah and Tate. He is preceded in death by his wife, Vivian E. Base; his parents, his sisters Violet Eshelman and Letha Zaring. Visitation 4-6 p.m., Sunday, April 15 at Baker Funeral Home, Valley Center. Services 10:30 a.m., Monday, April 16, will be held at the First United Methodist Church, Valley Center. Burial following the service at Hillside Cemetery, Sedgwick.
