Shepard, Priscilla 'Violet' (Michlitsch) , 80, retired Century Manufacturing employee, passed away on October 19, 2015. She was born in Eden, South Dakota to George E. Michlitsch and Amanda (Knebel) Michlitsch. On April 19, 1953, she married the love of her life Stuart Leigh Shepard. Violet is survived by her children Cherri Tyler of Wichita, Scott (Cynthia) Shepard of Edmond, OK, Shelli Moore of Austin, TX, Stuart Shepard of Valley Center and Sheila (Eddie) Vasquez of Valley Center; 10 grandchildren, Jade Dundas, Justin Dundas, Rachael Moore, Jessica Young, Elizabeth Moore, Matthew Shepard, Marcus Shepard, Lucas Shepard, Brianna Moncivais and Braydon Moncivais; 8 great grandchildren, Miles Shepard, Maddox Shepard, Vance Vaughn, Ella Young, Andrew Dundas, Victoria Dundas, Kate Dundas and Dallon Dundas; brother Robert (Linda) Michlitsch of Colwich; sisters Sandra Coykendall of Wichita and Junice (David) Kiser of Eufala, OK; many other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Stuart Shepard, parents George and Amanda Michlitsch, brothers Lee Michlitsch, Adelbert Michlitsch and Gene Michlitsch.

Rosary 5:30 pm, Thursday, Oct. 22, and Mass 10 am, Friday, Oct. 23, both will be held at St. Jude Catholic Church, Wichita. Graveside following the service at Calvary Cemetery, Wichita, Kansas. Memorials may be designated in her memory to the American Cancer Society. Baker Funeral Home Valley Center. Condolences may be left for the family at www.bakerfhvc.
