Paul J Sprague 66 passed away on March 31st 2025 in McPherson Kansas, surrounded by family. He was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to George C. and Irene (Melhuish) Sprague. He spent his younger years in Ohio but in his later years he lived with his loving wife in McPherson.

Paul was a graduate from Bucyrus High School, and Pioneer Career & Technology Center studying Graphic Arts (1977). He was a real jack-of-all-trades, working in printing, trucking, factory jobs, and so many other fields. Beyond his varied career, he had a deep passion for history. He adored blues and rock 'n roll, rode his motorcycle in the open road, and loved scouring flea markets for vintage treasures that told a story.

He is preceded in death by his father George, mother Irene, aunt Mary Elizabeth, and uncles Richard and Bill Melhuish.

Paul is survived by his wife Virginia "Ginny", his daughter Debi (Doug) Christo, Christy (Jeff) Tate, Tracey (Joe) Pitman, grandchildren Madison (Jacob) Jones, Kaydon Christo, Harlan, Hiett, Logan, and one great granddaughter Rayvin, s iblings Bruce (Cory) Sprague, Barbara Sprague Roberts, James (Carina) Sprague, Linda (Bill) Shepard. sister in law Mary (Steve) Heath, 5 nieces and 5 nephews, 16 great nieces and nephews, many other family and friends. He is also survived by his beloved cat Muggs.

The family has chosen to keep memorial services private at this time.
