PARK CITY, KS

Hommertzheim, Paul John , 85, retired Southwestern Bell PBX installer, passed away Friday, March 6, 2015. He was born in Sharon, Kansas to Peter J. Hommertzheim and Marie (Gassen) Hommertzheim. He was a graduate of Sharon High School, Sharon, Kansas. Paul was a U.S. Army and Korean War Veteran. On August 7, 1954 he married the love of his life, Theodora Jackson in Wichita, Kansas. Paul enjoyed his family very much. He is survived by his wife Theodora "Teddi" Hommertzheim; daughters Susan E. Cruz (Melvin F. Kerr) and Paula J. Soto (Francisco J. Soto); grandchildren Angela, Veronica, Maria del Pilar, Francisco, Elena, Julianna; great grandchildren Audria, Cheyanne, Itanya, Tamara and Ocean; sister Irene Bitsche; many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Peter and Marie Hommertzheim, brothers Bill, Bart, Francis and Henry, and sisters Elizabeth, Margaret, Kathryn, Helen and Pauline.
Rosary 7 p.m., Thursday, March 12, and Mass Service 9:30 a.m., Friday, March 13, both will be held at Church of the Resurrection, 4910 N. Woodlawn, Bel Aire. Graveside will follow the service. Memorials may be designated in Paul's name to the Church of the Resurrection, 4910 N. Woodlawn, Bel Aire, Ks 67226. Baker Funeral Home Valley Center is handling arrangements.
