Patricia "Pat" Sue Safarik, 67, passed away in her home surrounded by family on Wednesday the 18th of February 2026 in Valley Center, Kansas.  She was born in Crocker, Missouri to William and Alma (Schweglar) Moman. She was born and raised in Belle, Missouri finally residing in Kansas. She graduated from Maries County High School in Belle in 1976 and Lincoln University in 1993 where she majored in Accounting. She was employed by Wolters Kulers (Formly CCH) for 30 plus years. She enjoyed spending time with family. She was a longtime member of Calvary Baptist Church in Valley Center, Kansas.

Pat is preceded in death by her father William Chesley Moman of Odessa, Texas.

She is survived by her husband, Paul Safarik; sons, Richard Martin, Robert Martin (Genny); daughter, Samantha Miller (Corey); sister, Nancy Quick (John-Paul); brothers, Gary Moman, Jacob Moman (Tammy), Timothy Moman, Teddy Moman (Christine); aunt, Oletha Schweglar (Keith); 10 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren; many other family and friends.

Visitation will be held at Baker Funeral Home, 100 S. Cedar, Valley Center, Kansas on Tuesday, February 24, from 3 to 5 pm for local friends and family. Cpndolences may be left for the family at www.bakerfhvc.com.

Visitation 9:00 a.m. and Service 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 28th, held at Gottenstroeter Funeral Home 108 S 2nd St, Owensville, Missouri, followed by a reception at  Red Oak Valley at the Red Barn 3725 MO-19, Owensville, MO 65066. .
