PATRICIA (CARNAHAN) GOOLSBY, 88, went to be with her Savior, Jesus, on Thursday, April 20, 2017, 10:30 p.m., surrounded by her family. She was a native of Valley Center, Kansas. Patricia was born March 6, 1929, the daughter of Glenn and June (Shirkey) Carnahan. She married Travis Goolsby on August 4, 1950 at the First Baptist Church, Valley Center. He preceded her in death on October 16, 1982. To their union was born 4 sons and 1 daughter. David Goolsby of Wichita, Kansas, Jimmie Goolsby, Keith Goolsby and wife Sarah of Branson, Missouri, Doug Goolsby of Wichita, Kansas, Diane Gaddy and husband Daryl of Pittsburg, Kansas. Patricia was a long time member of Rolling Hills Community Church in Wichita, Kansas. She touched many lives for Christ through her Christian witness. Survivors include 3 sons and her daughter, 10 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Jimmie, granddaughter Ashley Goolsby, brother Bob and sister Glenna Miller. Visitation 5-7 p.m., Monday, April 24, at Baker Funeral Home Valley Center. Service 10 a.m., Tuesday, April 25, at Rolling Hills Community Church, 8605 W. Maple, Wichita.
