Clark, Pastor Ernest Thomas
, 98, retired Minister, took his final flight, destination Heaven on Tuesday, May 12, 2015. He was born in rural Holly, Colorado to Thomas Edward Clark and Mabel Anna (Manning) Clark. He attended Hartman Elementary and was a graduate of Hartman High School, Hartman, Colorado. He also was a graduate of Friends University and Central Baptist Theological Seminary. Ernie was an Army Air Corps and World War II Veteran. In 1944 he married Jean Avanell Whatley in Denison, Texas, and to this union were born three children. They shared 43 years together. In 1988 he married Nadine "Bertie" Jones in Larned, Kansas, and they shared 22 years together. Ernie was a member of the Kansas Baptist Ministers Council. As a Pastor one of the churches he pastored was First Baptist Church in Valley Center, Kansas. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wives Jean Clark and Nadine Clark, brother Weldon Clark and grandson Michael Adkisson. He is survived by his children Linda (James) Anderson of Park City, Dr. John (Ruth) Clark of Kansas City, Kansas, Timothy Clark of Dallas, Texas; step children Jerry (Sharon) Adkisson of Independence, Missouri, Ernest (Betty) Adkisson of Austin, Texas and Patsy (Daryl) Peterson of Walden, Colorado; 17 grandchildren, 52 great grandchildren; many other family and friends.

both held at Grace Connections Church, 300 N. Ash, Valley Center
. Graveside will follow the service at Kechi Township Cemetery, 6523 N. Hillside, Wichita, Kansas.
