Hipps, Nina Jean (McAnulty), 77, retired Kansas Coliseum maintence, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2012 in Newton, Kansas. She was born in rural Pottsville, Arkansas to Archie McAnulty and Lucy Elsie (Jordan) McAnulty. She is survived by her husband Emmit Hipps of the home; son, Steve (Nikki) Hipps of Valley Center; daughter, Brenda Hipps of Valley Center; grandchildren, Shane Ketron, Heather (Kevin) Thomasson, Sarah Hipps, Jarrod (Jessica) Hipps, and Chelsey Ketron; great grandchildren, Daniel Ketron, Dylan Ketron, Sullivan Thomasson, and Kellen Hipps; brothers, Gerald (Iladeen) McAnulty of Russellville, AR and George (Betty) McAnulty of Haysville. She is preceded in death by her parents and sister Jeweldene Ross. Visitation 5-7 p.m., Monday, February 6; Services 11 a.m., Tuesday, February 7, both will be held at Baker Funeral Home, 100 S. Cedar, Valley Center. Burial will be following the service at Valley Center Memorial Cemetery.
