Feil, Myrtle Marie (Polzin), 81, beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt passed away Thursday, October 13, 2011. She was born in Windom, Minnesota, to Fredrick Helmert Polzin and Vina Mae (Wright) Polzin. She married Donald Jacob Feil on April 24, 1948. She is survived by her daughter, Linda (Len) Sanders of Douglass; son Jerry Feil of Valley Center; sister, Lorraine Paulson of Seattle, WA; 4 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald J. Feil; parents, Fredrick H. and Vina Polzin; brother, Lawrence Polzin; sisters, Velma Mann, Vina Nieman, Mavis Brand and Irene Hartberg. Visitation with the family present will be held 5-7 pm Wednesday, October 19, at Baker Funeral Home, 100 S. Cedar, Valley Center. Private burial at the Kansas Veteran's Cemetery, Winfield. Memorials may be designated to the Kansas Veterans Cemetery, 1208 N College St, Winfield, Ks 67156 and Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 S Market, Wichita, Ks 67202. www.bakerfhvc.com Baker Funeral Home, Valley Center has charge.
