MILDRED LUCILLE (ROBERTS) WRIGHT, 108, of Valley Center, Kansas
passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 in Wichita, Kansas. She was born in Severy, Kansas to Arnold Roberts and Stella Mertice (Evans) Roberts. She received a Teaching Certificate and taught in the Severy School District. Mildred married the love of her life Hal Dale Wright in 1931. She was a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church Valley Center, being involved in many areas including being the oldest in the choir. She also was a member of the Eastern Star. She is survived by her children Carolyn Wiley (Tom Ahl) of Topeka, KS, Linda (Bill) Reed of Jacksonville, FL, Andrea (Mike) Schomaker of Garfield, AR and Mike (Becky) Wright of Tulsa, OK; grandchildren Shannon Willis, Erin Thompson, Graham Wiley, Lanny Bevan, Jeff Bevan, Cary Bevan, Kevan Schomaker, Kyle Schomaker, Kristy Schomaker, Regan Daniel, Lindy Wright and Brandon Wright; 18 great grandchildren, 9 great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Hal D. Wright, parents Arnold Roberts and Stella Evans, brother Kenneth Roberts and sister Azul Pershall.
