Michael Larry Thompson, 61, retired Consumer Product Salesman and caregiver, passed away, Monday, May 5, 2014. He was born in Wichita, Kansas to Laurance Arthur Thompson and Martha Mary (Cox) Thompson. He was a graduate of Valley Center High School in 1970 and Bachelor's degree at Wichita State University in 1974. Michael loved his Harley and his family, and will be greatly missed. He is survived by his children Drew Thompson of Seattle, WA and Dana (Justin) Haug of Tucson, AZ; grandson Owen Haug; sister Jeanne Thompson of Valley Center; niece Marna Kalp of Valley Center; great nephews and nieces Bryce Cartland, Morgan Kalp, Garett Kalp; great great nephew Britton Stafford; many other family and friends. Memorials may be designated to Harry Hynes Hospice, 313 S. Market, Wichita, Ks 67202. Private Family Services will be held. Baker Funeral Home, Valley Center has charge.
