Michael  Eugene  Sparkman , age 61, went home to be with his Lord on Sunday, September 26, 2021.  He was born in Hawthorne, California to Michael D. and Kay Sparkman.

Michael had a great love for reading and studying the Word of God.  He enjoyed teaching others about the Lord, playing his guitar and singing praise to the Lord. His other enjoyment was automotive, especially transmissions. He and his wife opened their business in 2000 - MasterTech Transmissions, Inc.  He had over 45 years of experience, training and love in transmissions and automotive. His other treasure and love was his family and spending time with them.

Michael is survived by his wife Cheryl; daughter Lisa and son Josh (Jennifer); grandchildren Bailee, Caleb, Madison, Dominic, Luke, Karlie, Linkin and Ripkin; great grandchildren Roman, Kyleigh and Colter; dad Mike Sparkman, mother Kay Preston & Bill Gillette.  He is preceded in death by his brothers Danny and Steven.

Service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 2, 2021, at Salvation Army Community Center, 1910 S. Everett St., Wichita, Kansas. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated in his memory to Interfaith Ministry and the Salvation Army.
