WHITEWATER, KANSAS
MICHAEL W. DAVIES, 91, retired Santa Fe Engineer, passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2016. He was born at Burns, Kansas to Albert Sydney Davies and Glenna May (Jordan) Davies. He was a U.S. Army-Air Force and World War II Veteran and a member of the American Legion. On June 30, 1943 he married Mildred Florence Osburn at the home of her parents in Whitewater, Kansas. He is preceded in death by his wife Mildred, parents Albert and Glenna Davies and his sister Margaret Rebecca (Davies) Bishop. He is survived by a sister-in-law and many nephews and nieces. Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 2, at the Whitewater Cemetery, 10878 KS-196 and S. Harvest Hill Rd, Whitewater, Kansas with Chaplain John Schnelle officiating. Baker Funeral Home Valley Center. Condolences may be left for the family at www.bakerfhvc.com
