Michael Ray Bonus, passed away on Veteran's Day, Monday, November 11, 2024. He was born on Saturday January 14, 1950, in Creston, Iowa to Raymond and Bonnie (Gorham) Bonus. He was a proud US Army Vietnam Veteran. Michael was a gifted carpenter who loved working with his hands and wood creating so many masterpieces.

In 1993 he married the love of his life, Cindy Robertson. In this marriage he gained two children he loved very much, Stephanie Keener of Wichita, KS and Jon Johnson (Amanda) of Douglass, KS; five grandchildren, Brianna Barnes (Shea) of Eldorado, KS, Breonna Johnson (Justin Blochlinger) of Wichita, Nicholas Johnson of Wichita, Symon Keener of Wichita, and Elijah Barnes of Douglass, KS; four great grandchildren, AdaLynn Blochlinger, Blayden Blochlinger, Erabella Blochlinger and Karson Blochlinger all of Wichita, KS; sisters, Rebecca Kruse of Andover and Jeri Linnebur (Jim) of Eureka; many nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly, other family and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents and stepfather Al Cox.

Service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 16, at Baker Funeral Home Chapel, 100 S. Cedar, Valley Center, Kansas.
