Balleau, Michael George , 55, land-locked Pirate, craftsman, outdoorsman, and free spirit, passed away as a result of sudden illness on Thursday, June 11, 2015. He is survived by his three children, Sarah, Ben and Anna Balleau of Wichita; mother, Maxine Aitken of Elkhart, Indiana; brothers David Balleau (Shelly, daughter Victoria) of Evergreen, Colorado, and Jeff Balleau (Sharon, children Taylor and Zachary) of Wildwood, Missouri; and niece and nephew Michael Balleau (Michelle) and Stephanie DeLong (Brock) of Wichita; as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, and innumerable friends. He is preceded in death by his beloved father, Walter George Balleau, Jr. If you knew Mike, you'd know he wasn't a funeral kind of guy, but for those who would like to pay respects, a wake will be held at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, June 20 at Kirby's Beer Store 3227 E. 17th St, Wichita, KS 67208.
