MERCEDES CATHERINE (STOCKEMER) RAPLE

92, passed away on March 31, 2016. She was born in St. Mark's, Kansas to John and Elizabeth (Betzen) Stockemer. She was a graduate of St. John's Academy. She married George P. Raple in 1948, a union lasting 68 years. She is survived by her husband George; children: Dorothy (Tim) Gerlach, Paula (Jim) Pond, Ron (Mary Kay) Raple, Jeanne (Chris) Johnson, Mary Raple (Pat Lamb); sister Anne Stockemer; 17 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren; many other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, sibings Sr. Sophia Stockemer, Aloysius (Bernetta) Stockemer, Reinard (Olga) Stockemer, Vincent Stockemer, Lawrence Stockemer, Joe (Emma) Stockemer, Sr. Therese Stockemer, Dorothy (Joe) Cooper, Gene (Audine) Stockemer and grandson Michael Gruenbacher.

Rosary 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 5; and Funeral Mass 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, April 6; both held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 318 Rush Ave, Andale, Kansas.
