Melody Joy (Kaufman) Morris, 51, beloved wife, mother, sister and friend, went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, October 28, 2014. She was born in Hutchinson, Kansas to Wilber J. Kaufman and Opal Louise (Albrecht) Kaufman. Melody loved her family, singing and ministering through praise and worship with her church family and friends. She will be greatly missed. She is survived by her husband Jack Morris; children, Rachel Woolley of Valley Center, Caleb Woolley of Valley Center, Bryce Woolley of Valley Center, Joseph Morris of Wichita, Sarah Morris of Kerrville, TX, Samantha Morris of Valley Center and Samuel Morris of Valley Center; brother Roy (Deanna) Kaufman of Wichita; sisters, Pearlene (Jack) Morrison of Dixon, MO, Jan (Chuck) Brady of Valley Center and sister-in-law Betty Kaufman of Topeka. She is preceded in death by her parents Wilbert and Opal Kaufman, and brother Don Kaufman. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated in Melody's memory to the Kids College Fund and Believers Tabernacle. Visitation 5-7 p.m. Thursday, October 30 at Baker Funeral Home, Valley Center. Services will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday, October 31 at Believers Tabernacle, 2000 S. Hillside, Wichita. Baker Funeral Home, Valley Center is handling arrangements.
