Swingle, "Socko" Maurice Alden, Jr., 74, retired Cessna Wallace Div. and Swingle Top Soil Co., passed away Thursday, October 20, 2011. He was born in Wichita, Kansas, to Maurice Swingle, Sr. and Eva LaVonne (Simoson) Swingle. He is survived by his sons, Bryan Swingle of Mound Valley, Ks and Troy Swingle of Winfield, Ks; grandchildren, Levi Swingle and Hannah Swingle; brother, Bill Swingle of Valley Center; sisters, Helen Ryan of Zenda, Ks and Phyllis Arb of Denver, CO. He is preceded in death by his parents, Maurice Sr. and Eva Swingle; sisters, Sharon LaVonne Swingle and Margaret Louise Moore.
