Mary Lou Kindred, age 93, went to be with her Savior in her forever home on Monday, March 3, 2025. Mary Lou was born on December 14, 1931 in Eufaula, Oklahoma to William and Hazel (Huntington) Plummer.  She worked for the American Heart Association and was active in her church for decades.

Mary Lou was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Wm. Bearl Kindred; parents, William and Hazel Plummer; sister Fern Marie Wilson; and great granddaughter Madelyn Jaymes Park.

Mary Lou is survived by her three daughters: Karen Vogt (Mike), Paula Rigsby (Mark), and Judi Park (Tim); 10 grandchildren: Shaun Kliewer (Kelly); Jennifer Minner (Rod); Brandon Kliewer (Rena); Brian Vogt; Erin Lorenz (Jim); Penni Griffith (David); Amanda Baxter; Samantha Juhnke (Michael); Schuyler Park (Jennifer); and Molly Fisher Devlin (Mike). 23 great grandchildren complete Mary Lou's family: Jordan, Taylor and Madison Kliewer; Maddalene and Rodney Minner; Isabella and Braelynn Kliewer; Paige and Kate Lorenz; Sydney and Avery Little, Delaney Little Griffith; McKinley Griffith; Kaiden and Landri Crawford; Briggs and Quinn Baxter; Liam, Sawyer and Isla Joy Park; and Riley, Grant and Faith Fisher.

Mary Lou's celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Faith Church, 325 North Emporia, Valley Center, KS 67147. Everyone is invited to stay for lunch after the service.
