WICHITA, KS
Denny, Marvin Cecil,
84, beloved husband, dad, grandpa and friend, passed away Friday, January 30, 2015. He was born in Childress, Texas to Sam Hoge Denny and Olive Rebecca (Andersen) Denny. He defined his life and shaped the lives of everyone he met. Marvin served in the U.S. Army Air Corps honorably and left active service to continue to serve as an Inspector for the Department of Defense. He never spoke much of his own achievements and was a private person, but he was tremendously proud of his wife, children and grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Aurelia Denny; sons David Denny of Potwin, KS, Dan Denny of Savannah, GA and Roger Denny of Belle Plaine, KS; daughter Nikki (Steve) Hipps of Valley Center, KS; 7 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren.; other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Sam and Olive Denny, and brother William Lloyd Denny.
Visitation
with family will be held 5-7 p.m., Monday, February 2;
Services
1:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 3, both will be held at the Christian Church, 1801 E. Fifth, Valley Center, Kansas.
Graveside
will follow the service at Valley Center Memorial Cemetery, 9700 N. Meridian, Valley Center, Kansas. In lieu of flowers,
