VALLEY CENTER, KANSAS
MARLYN RUTH (MUSICK) COX,
77, formerly of Urbana, Illinois and retired from Unit 4 School District, born December 7, 1939, passed away November 25, 2017. Memorial Service 1:00 pm, Thursday, December 7, 2017 at First United Methodist Church Valley Center. She is survived by her brother Orvle (Sharon) Musick of Illinois, her daughter Carole Bowman of Valley Center, step daughter Rene (Jef) Dunnam of Illinois, step sons Michael Cox of Texas and Rodney (Julie) Cox of Illinois and god daughter Kimberly (Robert) Brauner of Texas; grandchildren Kirk Bowman of Valley Center, Micah (Valerie) Cox of Kentucky, Joshua (Kerry) Cox, Jenny Knop, Jonathan Cox, Taylor (James) Nugent, Courtney Cox & Michael Tague all of Illinois, Christian Cox of Oklahoma, and Joe (Jessica) Dunnam of Nevada; 13 great grandchildren; many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Darwin and Esther Musick, brother Dwayne Musick, ex-husband Gerald Cox, and grandson Nikki Gerald Cox.
