Nelson, Marjory Lena (Darling) Downe, 92, went through the gates of heaven on a moon-lit night to join her family reunion on, Saturday, July 12, 2014. She was a loved child, wife, mother, grandmother, great and great-great grandmother. She was born March 2, 1922 in New York to Frank E. Darling and Ida Mae (Klock) Darling. She is preceded in death by her parents, twin sister Barbara, five sisters and two brothers, husbands Richard Downe and Charles Nelson, son Steven Downe and daughter JoAnn Wickens. She loved serving her family, friends and others. Marjory is survived by her children Patricia Bronson of Colwich, Barbara (Fred) Nixon of Valley Center, Paul (Robin) Downe of Tulsa, Oklahoma and John (Joanna) Downe of Derby; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, other family and friends. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Sunday, August 10 at the Valley Center Community Center, 316 E. Clay, Valley Center, Kansas.
