Marjorie G. Thompson, 92, entered Heaven's gates on Wednesday, October 26, 2022. She was born in Maize, Kansas to William and Marie (Roof) Nicholson.  She attended schools and raised in Maize, was a 1947 graduate of Maize High School.

On September 9, 1951 she married the love of her life Dale E. Thompson. To this union were two sons, George and Jeff.

She is survived by her son George Thompson and his family - Rachel (Kyle) Nilsen and their children Aurora, Zoe and Ella; her son Jeff (Kelly) Thompson and their family Nic, Makaylli, Haydn (Ysa), and Graci and their children Alizae, Phenix, Haydn Jr and Genavieve.

She sang with the Sweet Adalines for many years and later began singing with The Funtastics.  Her love of music was a great part of her.  Marge also loved being around friends, yet her greatest love and joy was her family. She especially enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren which were her highlights of life.  Her love  and witness will be greatly missed.

Service will be held 11:00 am. Thursday, November 3 at Faith Church, 325 N. Emporia, Valley Center, Kansas.  Graveside following at Hillside Cemetery, Sedgwick, Kansas.
