MARILYN  (NICHOLSON)  SONES, 74, passed away Saturday, April 21, 2018. She was a retired Para from Maize District USD 266.  Marilyn was a graduate of Maize High School, Maize, Kansas. On February 12, 1961 at the Evangelical United Brethren Church, she married the love of her life, Don Sones. She was gifted in many things, loved helping others and enjoyed time with family. She is preceded in death by her son Jeff Sones,  her parents Lee and Evelyn Nicholson, and brother Greg Nicholson. Marilyn is survived by her husband of 57 yrs, Don Sones; daughters Tammy (Doug) Bandy, Kim (Jim) Kane; siblings: Judy (J.P.) Grisham, Ron (Linda) Nicholson, Sherry (Larry) Zoglman, Don Nicholson, Janet (Doug) Ternes, Randy Nicholson and Debbie (Paul) Kelsey; grandchildren: Dustin, Clinton, Jake, Jorden and Peyton; great grandson Saelur; many other family and friends. Memorials, in lieu of flowers, may be designated in her memory to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 S. Market, Wichita, Ks 67202, Rainbows United, 3223 N.
