MARILYN  DALE  (DAVIS)  PITTS, 92, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on October 4, 2017. She was born in Peck, Kansas to Albert and Mabel (Heston) Davis. She was a graduate of Clearwater High School Clearwater, Kansas and Friends University, Wichita, Kansas. She worked for a time at the Veteran's Administration in secretarial and administrative positions. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Her other high calling was that of a Pastor's wife where she ministered to so many. She also loved to knit, read, travel, yet her most favorite was time with her family. Marilyn is preceded in death by her husband Delmar Aldean Pitts, son Mark Alan Pitts, her parents Albert and Mabel Davis, sister Nadine Boyle, brother-in-laws Jim Pitts and Ron Pitts. She is survived by her daughter Carolyn (Donald) Palmer of Rose Hill; grandchildren Chris (Connie) Palmer of Augusta, James (Cassey) Palmer of Udall, Shawn (Susan) Palmer; great grandchildren Sophie, Bentley, Emma, Allison and David; in-laws: Jeanine Pitts of Hesston, Phyllis Pitts of El Dorado, Daryl (Gloria) Pitts of Boerne, Texas and Verna (Orrin) Pitts of Hutchinson; many other family and friends. Services 11 am Tuesday, October 10, at the University Friends Church, 1840 W. University St, Wichita, Kansas with Rev. Cliff Loesch officiating. There will be a private family Graveside at View Point Cemetery in Booker, Texas.  Condolences may be left for the family at www.bakerfhvc.com .
