WICHITA, KS
Marilyn Joann (DeFoor) Orem-DeWeese, 50, former RN, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend passed away Thursday, July 11, 2013. She is survived by her husband David DeWeese; daughters, Shaunda Sanderson of Reno, Nevada, Andrea (Jeremy) Baker of Maize, Kansas and Brandy Hall of Wichita; grandchildren, Gabriel Sanderson, Estaban Resa, Makyenzie Resa, Aidan White, Luke Baker, Nathan Baker, Bella Campbell and Avery Green; sisters, Linda Sanderson of Reno, Nevada, Eula Thacker of Valley Center and Alisa Sarmiento of Wichita. Marilyn is preceded in death by her grandson Dexter Green, mother Rosie DeFoor and brother Larry DeFoor. Memorial Celebration of Marilyn's life will be held from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m., Saturday, July 20 at McLaughlin Park, Valley Center. Baker Funeral Home, 100 S. Cedar, Valley Center.
