WICHITA, KANSAS
MARGARITA ANNETTE CHAVEZ
, 60, passed away peacefully into the gates of Heaven surrounded by her family and friends at home with the assistance of Harry Hynes Hospice on Thursday, November 2, 2017. She was born in Wichita, Kansas to Kenneth Chavez and Mary Elena (Madrigal) Chavez. She was a graduate of East High School, Wichita. She worked as a nurse and heart monitor tech at Wesley Medical Center. She loved family barbeques, Bingo, Suduko and Skipbo, but most of all enjoyed family time. She is survived by her daughter Frances M. Gonzales; sister Velma (Chavez) Meyers; brother George Chavez; beloved cat 'Gizzy'; many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Kenneth S. Chavez. A Celebration of Life service will be held 2:30 p.m., Friday, November 10 at Baker Funeral Home Chapel Valley Center.
