MARCIA ROJEAN (LAVENDER) LICKEY , 88, passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2016. She was born in Valley Center, Kansas to Kenneth and Leva Jane (Embry) Lavender. She was a graduate of Valley Center High School and attended Southwestern College. She married the love of her life Eldon A. Lickey on June 27, 1954. She enjoyed her secretarial work at the Valley Center First United Methodist Church for 18 yrs and Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church. She loved family dinners, camping trips, sewing, reading, her family and friends. Marcia is survived by her husband Eldon; children Diana (Paul) Scanlan, Marykay (Ken) Larson, Ernest (Linda) Lickey, all of Wichita, and Jim Lickey of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Katie (Loren) Topp, Drew Scanlan, Steve Larson, Jon Larson, Hannah Larson, Seth Larson, Noah Larson and Spencer Lickey; brother Philip Lavender of Houston, Texas; many other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Kenneth and Leva Lavender and her brother Jack W. Lavender. Service 1:00 p.m., Friday, November 11 at the First United Methodist Church, 560 N.
