MADGE DELANO (THOMAS) CROSS, 84, passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2019. She was born in Geary, Oklahoma to Frank Thomas and Iris (Gresham) Thomas - Sampson.  She enjoyed flowers and gardening, loved children and being a foster parent; beloved wife, mom of 5, grandma, sister, aunt and friend. Her greatest joy was time with her family.

Madge is survived by her children 1) Robert (Ann) Cross with their children Laurie (Gilbert) Yaeger and David (Conner) Cross and Audrey Cross, their grandchildren Carder Goldsmith, Zander Goldsmith and Katlyn (Zack) Goldsmith with Astrid; 2) Peggy (Alan) Clubb with their children Sam (Allison) Clubb and Nick (Sarena) Clubb, their grandchildren Nathaniel Clubb, Rowen Clubb and Kaleb Clubb; 3) Don (Wendy) Cross with their children Missy (Ben) Schaper, with their grandchildren Kinsley Schaper and William Schaper; Mindy (Darin) Myers with their children Stephen Myers, Kallie Myers and Aria Myers; 4) Tammy (Daniel) Nixon, their children Justin Hampton and Michael Hampton, their grandson Tristan Hampton; siblings, Frank Thomas Junior, Arnel Thomas, Daisy Cook and sister-in-law Lenora Thomas; over 30 foster children with many still calling her mom; many other family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband Ed W. Cross, son Jim Cross, father Frank Thomas and mother Iris Sampson, brother Elbert Thomas, sister-in-laws Elaine Thomas and Millie Thomas, brother-in-law Thomas Cook.

Visitation 1:30 p.m. and Service 2:30 p.m., held Saturday, November 16, 2019 at the Church of the Nazarene, El Dorado, Kansas.
