Madeline Carol Heath-Alexander, a devoted mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and great-grandmother, was born on January 18, 1948, in Garden City, Kansas. She passed away on May 25, 2025, in Wichita, Kansas.
Madeline is survived by her four children: Amy Caspari of Wichita, Kansas, April Alexander (Rick Wright) of Wichita, Kansas, Angie Alexander (Michael Baker) of Matador, Texas, and Andrew Alexander (Jen) of Derby, Kansas. She also leaves behind her siblings, Mary Potter-Stokke (Rich Stokke) of Derby, Kansas; Margaret Cross (Leroy) of Oklahoma; Patty Hainlen of Wichita, Kansas; Marlene Nutter (Mike) of Augusta, Kansas; and Mark Heath (Terry) of Leota, Kansas. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Madeline was preceded in death by her parents, Velma Arlene Heath, Ralph Raymond Heath, and stepfather Delbert (Pistol) Dunn, as well as her brother, Mike Heath, and sister-in-law, Terry Heath.
A graduate of Belle Plaine High School, Madeline loved cooking and brought joy to many through her culinary skills. She later served as a camp host at El Dorado State Lake, where she created lasting memories for visitors and friends.
Madeline enjoyed crafting, particularly crocheting and embroidery, and was an avid reader, often found immersed in the "Harry Potter" series and "The Lord of the Rings." Her generosity and ability to connect with others were hallmarks of her character.
In accordance with her wishes, there will not be a formal service; however, a Celebration of Life will be held later to honor her contributions and the impact she had on those around her.
Madeline Carol Heath-Alexander will be remembered fondly by all who knew her.
