LYNDON 'BILL' SWENSON, 72, retired Millworker, Lumber Yard Manager and a U.S. Air Force Veteran., passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2016. He was born in Gray, Maine to Wilfred D. Swenson and Marietta (Hewett) Swenson. In 1970, he married the love of his life, Lois M. (Savage). Bill lived the majority of his life in Bridgton, Maine and Lancaster, New Hampshire. He was a member of the Christian Mission Alliance in Bridgton and New Horizon Holiness Church in Wichita. Bill enjoyed life and the pleasures of fishing, hunting and motorcycle riding. He was a loving husband, father, grandpa and friend. He is survived by his daughter Heather Moody and her husband Jeff of Biloxi, Mississippi; grandchildren Emily and Ryan; brother David Swenson; sisters Kim Twomey and Susan Wheeler; many other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his wife Lois, son Stephen, parents Wilfred and Marietta, brothers Kirk Swenson and Richard Swenson. Services will be 6 p.m., Friday, April 15 at New Horizon Holiness Church, 5314 N. Seneca, Wichita. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be designated to The American Diabetes Association.
