LuCinda 'Cindy' Whitenack went to be with her Lord and Savior on October 23, 2023, after a battle with a rare respiratory illness.

Cindy was born October 4, 1961, the first of four children born to Dennis and Bonnie Strasser. She grew up in Peabody, Kansas and was a 1979 graduate of Peabody High School. After graduation she attended Hesston College where she received an Associate of Arts Degree in Nursing. Cindy was fortunate to continue nursing until April, 2023. Her love for nursing revolved around medical and cardiac patients.

She is preceded in death by her parents, grandparents and numerous aunts and uncles.

Cindy is survived by her husband of 36 years, Peter Paul, son Bruce, grandchildren Phenix, Brody and Kalyb, great grandchildren Alaiah and Lucas; her siblings Tony Strasser (Carol) of Mesa, AZ, Denise Starkweather (Dan) of Hoyt, KS and Travis Strasser of Wichita, KS. She will be greatly missed by her three nieces, nephew, great niece and great nephews, a host of friends, co-workers, anuts and many cousins.

A special thank you is sent to the Christian Church of Peabody, Kansas and Pastor Mike for fulfilling her desire to be baptized.
