WICHITA
Loyal Leroy Grandstaff, 79, retired Grandstaff Plumbing owner, passed away, Monday, June 2, 2014. He was born in Waverly, Missouri to Loyal Jack Grandstaff and Elsie Iola (Matchler) Grandstaff. Leroy was a U.S. Marine and Korean War Veteran. He met the love of his life, Mary Lou Estes, and married her January 11, 1958. He is a member and deacon at the Crusader's Baptist Church, Wichita. He loves fishing, hunting, yard work, watching old western movies and most of all his family. He is survived by his wife Mary Lou Grandstaff; children Lee (Patricia) Grandstaff, Belinda (Rick) Davis, Wanda (Richard) Evans, Carol (Juan) Moreno; grandchildren, Wesley, Crystal, David, Misti, Chad, Brady, Katie, Nichole, Jessy, Jaclyn, Olivia, Jacob, Juanito, Sophia, Brielle and Tabatha; 20 great grandchildren; siblings Ida, Troy, Virginia, Charlie, Opal, Melvina, Carl and Bob; many other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his daughter Ruth Ann Grandstaff, parents Loyal Jack and Elsie Grandstaff, sister Mary Walker, brothers Marvin and James Grandstaff. Services will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 6 at the Green Valley Cemetery, 109th N. and 143rd E., Furley, Kansas. Memorials to the Robert J. Dole Veteran's Hospice, 5500 E.
