Lola Faye (Sherrill) Squires
, 86 of Wichita, Kansas passed away on Thursday, June 29th, 2017. She was born in Shawnee, Oklahoma to Gene and Opal Sherrill. Lola moved to Wichita, Kansas where she worked at Boeing Aircraft in production illustration and later where she met and married Jim Squires of Wichita. Lola loved working in her garden, playing slot machines and helping with her grandchildren. For many years, she did all of the book work for her husband. She had two sons whom she loved and then later was called Mimi by her grandchildren who she adored. She is survived by her sons Steve (Dawn) Squires, Randy (Jane) Squires, her brother Larry Sherrill (Nancy) and sister Jean Hoefler, grandchildren Jason Squires, Kristina Squires, Katie Patry, Ryan Squires and Jason Ferry and Denise Hawkins and several great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Jim Squires, parents Gene and Opal Sherrill, brother Lewis Squires and sister Linda Nix. Private family services held and Baker Funeral Home handling arrangements. Condolences may be left for the family at www.bakerfhvc.com
